Split Email List
Cut a big list into smaller files — for example to stay under a mailing service’s upload limit.
How it works
Choose either how many addresses each file should hold (for example 1,000) or how many files you want (the addresses are shared out as evenly as possible, in order). The last file may be shorter. Tick Remove duplicates first to clean the list before splitting. Each part is a plain text file with one address per line.
Download the parts one by one, or all together as a ZIP. To tidy or count the list first, see remove duplicate emails and count emails by domain.
Frequently asked questions
Why split a list?
Many email and CRM services limit how many contacts you can import at once, and smaller files are easier to open in spreadsheets.
Are the parts in the original order?
Yes. Part 1 has the first addresses, part 2 the next, and so on.
Is my list uploaded?
No. Splitting and zipping both happen in your browser.
