1. What this covers
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage. It follows the ePrivacy rules (Directive 2002/58/EC as applied in Italy by Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the guidance of the Italian data protection authority, the Garante. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled in general.
2. How consent works here
When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose. Nothing optional loads until you press Accept all. If you choose Only what is necessary, no analytics runs and third-party widgets stay blocked. Your choice is remembered in this browser for 12 months and then asked again. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer.
3. What is used
- Necessary (no consent needed). Your light or dark mode preference (
drf_theme) and the record of your cookie choice (drf_consent) are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site, may set a security cookie to tell real visitors from automated traffic. - Account area (necessary). If you sign in to the DRF account page on the sync server, a session cookie (
drf_account_session) keeps you signed in for the visit. It is removed when you close the browser or after 20 minutes of inactivity. - Statistics (only with your consent). Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics 4. They measure visits and pages viewed so that I can see what is useful. They set cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*and send data to Google, which may be processed outside the European Economic Area. - Third-party widgets (only with your consent). A few Forex Trading Tools pages embed a price chart from TradingView or a sentiment widget from Myfxbook. Those companies set their own cookies when the widget loads. Until you accept, the page shows a placeholder instead.
- Payments. When you press a Buy button you leave this site for a page hosted by Stripe, which uses its own cookies under its own policy.
- Advertising. The site does not currently load advertising scripts. Some pages contain affiliate links; they are ordinary links and set no cookie on this site (the site you go to may). See the Affiliate Disclosure.
4. Changing or deleting cookies
Besides the footer button, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary storage may mean the site forgets your light or dark mode.
