The site and who is behind it
- What is this site?
- It is the home of everything I do as an independent developer and system administrator. There are fixed-price technical services, small custom tools built to order, 628+ free online tools, and a forex section with free trading calculators, Expert Advisors for MetaTrader and a trading signal. You deal directly with me, with no marketplace and no middleman.
- Who runs it, and where are you based?
- I am Donaldson R F, a sole trader based in Pavia, Italy, with Partita IVA 03047430180. The address, phone number and email are in the footer of every page.
- When can I reach you?
- Support is available 7 days a week, 08:00 to 20:00, Pavia, Italy, Europe time. Write through the contact form or to info@donaldsonrf.com.
- Why are so many things free?
- I like solving small problems, and a simple tool built once can help a lot of people. Charging is a consequence of the work that takes real time, not the reason I do it.
Buying, prices and payment
- How do I buy a service?
- Open the service page, read what is and is not included, and press the Buy button. You pay by card through Stripe. After payment you land on a short form where you send me the details of your problem, and I start from there.
- What does the price include?
- The price is for a standard case matching the description on the page. Every situation is different. If yours falls outside the normal scope, I tell you before doing any extra chargeable work. I never silently turn a small job into an expensive project.
- Which currency do you charge in?
- Euro. The price you see is the price you pay, with no VAT added on top.
- Why is no VAT charged on your prices?
- I work under the Italian flat-rate scheme for small businesses, the regime forfettario. Under that scheme VAT is not charged on my invoices, and I cannot recover the VAT I pay on my own purchases. Invoices say that the operation is not subject to VAT under the rules of that scheme. If you are a business and need particular wording on an invoice, tell me before you pay.
- Will I get an invoice?
- Yes. Tell me the name and address to put on it, and your tax or VAT number if you are a business. Customers in Italy can also give a codice fiscale or Partita IVA and a codice destinatario or PEC address for the electronic invoice.
- Is the payment safe?
- Card payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card number.
Refunds
- Can I get my money back?
- Yes, in the cases set out in the Refund Policy. In short: if your case is outside the normal scope or I cannot do the job, you get a full refund. If you are a consumer in the EU you also have a 14-day right of withdrawal, which ends once the service you asked me to start has been fully carried out. The Refund Policy has the details.
- What happens if I cancel a DRF Key?
- The key keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. During the 7-day free trial you pay nothing if you cancel before it ends.
Free tools
- Are the free tools really free?
- Yes. There is no sign-up, no limit and no hidden charge. Most of them run entirely in your browser, so the text, files and numbers you enter stay on your device.
- I cannot find the tool I need.
- Use the search box, or the A to Z list of all free pages. If it is not there, suggest it through the Suggest a Tool page. If you need something built just for you, the custom tools are the paid option.
- What is on the Forex Trading Tools pages?
- Free calculators and live-data pages for traders: lot size, pip value, margin, drawdown, risk of ruin, trading sessions, spreads and more. They are written around gold today. They do arithmetic on the numbers you give them and are not advice.
Expert Advisors, signal and DRF Key
- What is an Expert Advisor?
- An Expert Advisor, or EA, is a program that runs inside the MetaTrader 5 trading platform and can place and manage trades by fixed rules. An indicator, by contrast, only draws information on the chart.
- Do Expert Advisors make money?
- I cannot promise that, and nobody honestly can. An EA carries out its rules; it does not make the rules right for every market. Some of mine lost money in live use, and I say so. Read the Risk Disclosure and test on a demo account first.
- What is the DRF Key?
- A subscription licence. One key unlocks the Expert Advisors and the signal, with a 7-day free trial. A key works from one IP address at a time, and you can move it from your account page.
- What is the trading signal?
- It shows the trades of one live account, with figures read directly from that account. You can use it to watch, or, with the signal copier, to mirror the trades on your own account. It is information, not advice.
- Can you build or repair an Expert Advisor for me?
- Yes. I create Expert Advisors from your written rules, repair broken ones, and convert MetaTrader 4 robots to MetaTrader 5. These are fixed-price services like the others, each with its own page.
Privacy and cookies
- What do you do with my data?
- Only what is needed to answer you, deliver the work, run your licence and keep the site secure. The Privacy Policy lists everything, who receives it and your rights.
- Why does the site ask about cookies?
- The site needs very little storage to work. Statistics and a few third-party widgets only load if you say yes. You can change your mind with the Cookie settings button in the footer.
