DRF Signal
One signal, from one live trading account. The figures below are read straight from the account and shown in its own currency. If there is nothing to show, the page says so instead of inventing a number.
Loading the latest figures…
The problem
Anyone can show a screenshot. If you want to follow, or copy, another trader, you need figures that come from the account itself and that include the bad days, with nothing hidden or rounded up.
What this signal is
It is the activity of one live account. It is not a demo, it is not a model, and it is not a recommendation. The account trades whatever its owner decides to trade, so it is not limited to one instrument.
What is included
- Balance, equity and the equity curve of the last 30 days
- The open orders and the latest closed trades
- Performance figures: number of trades, win rate, profit factor, average win and loss, best and worst trade, longest losing run, drawdown and total gain, once there are trades to measure
- With a DRF Key, the DRF Signal Copier, which can mirror new trades on your own MetaTrader 5 account
What is not included
- Any promise of profit or of a result like the one shown. Your broker, spread, delay, account size and settings are different
- Investment advice or a personal recommendation
- Personal details of the account: the broker, the account number and the deposits and withdrawals are not published
How the account is traded
The method is short-term trading with a small risk per order and a global stop on the account. Some orders are placed by hand and some by Expert Advisors. The page shows the bad days as well as the good ones.
How copying works
- Subscribe to the DRF Key (7 days free). A key is needed to copy.
- Install the DRF Signal Copier in your MetaTrader 5, listed in the Expert Advisors directory as soon as it is released.
- Allow
https://sync.donaldsonrf.comin MetaTrader's WebRequest list, and enter your key. - Choose how the lot size scales to your account and which safety checks to use. They apply to new copies only and never close a position that is already open.
- The copier then mirrors new trades of the signal account on yours. You can stop it at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the DRF Signal?
- A trading signal from one live account. The figures on the page are read directly from that account and shown in the account's own currency. It is information, not advice.
- Is it a demo account?
- No, it is a live account. The status on the page says whether the feed is live, the market is closed, or no fresh data has arrived.
- What do I see when there is no data?
- A short message saying so. The page never shows a made-up figure. If the account has no trades yet, or the feed has not reported, the figures stay hidden.
- Can I copy it?
- With a DRF Key you can copy it to your own MT5 account using the DRF Signal Copier. Copying means copying decisions that someone else makes. No result is promised, and past results do not guarantee future ones.
- Will I get the same results as the signal account?
- Not necessarily. Your broker, spread, delay, account size and settings are different. The lot size can be scaled to your account, but copying never guarantees the same result.
- Which symbols does the signal trade?
- Whatever the account trades. It is not limited to one instrument. Your broker may name symbols differently, so the copier lets you map names and scale the lot size.
- What do I need to use it?
- MetaTrader 5, the DRF Signal Copier, a DRF Key, and the sync address allowed in MetaTrader's WebRequest list. The DRF Key page explains each step.
- Is this financial advice?
- No. Trading carries a high level of risk and you can lose more than you expected. Read the Risk Disclosure before you use or copy it.
