MetaTrader VPS Performance Check

Check whether your trading VPS has the latency, uptime and resources your strategy actually needs.

The Problem

Slippage and missed entries are sometimes blamed on strategy when the real problem is VPS latency to your broker, resource contention, or an unstable connection you've never actually measured.

About this problem

Trading results depend on the quality of the connection and the server as much as on the strategy. Latency to the broker's trade server, CPU or memory contention from other processes, and short disconnections all affect fills and slippage, yet most traders never measure any of them and simply assume the VPS is fine.

People typically come to this after noticing slippage, delayed fills or missed entries that the strategy does not explain, or before committing to a particular VPS plan and wanting evidence that it suits their platform and broker.

What's Included

What's NOT Included

How It Works

  1. I measure round-trip latency from the VPS to your broker's trade server using the terminal's connection information and network tests, repeated at different times.
  2. I record CPU, memory and disk usage while your platform and EAs are running under normal load.
  3. I check for competing processes or background services that could cause resource spikes.
  4. I review the platform logs and Windows event history for disconnects and unexpected restarts.
  5. I compare the measurements with what your strategy needs and write up the findings clearly.

In practice: you buy the service, send over whatever access or details the job needs, I investigate and do the work, and you confirm it's resolved before we call it done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check latency from my VPS to my broker?
The terminal shows ping to the trade server, and network tests can confirm it. I take repeated measurements over time so that a single good or bad reading does not mislead.
Is my VPS the reason I get slippage?
It can be, but slippage also comes from market conditions and the broker's execution. The report shows whether the VPS is a plausible cause.
Will you recommend a VPS provider?
I will not recommend or move you to a specific provider. I will tell you what to look for in one.
Do you fix the problems you find?
This is a check and report. Fixes would be a separate piece of work, for example a Windows VPS configuration job.
Can you adjust my strategy based on the results?
No. Strategy changes are not part of this.
What about latency caused by the broker?
Broker-side issues outside the VPS cannot be fixed by me, though the report may show where the delay is occurring.
Please note: the price shown applies to a standard case matching the description above. Every situation is different, and if your request falls outside the normal scope of this service, I will explain this before doing any additional chargeable work. I will never silently turn a small job into an expensive project.
