How the comparison works
Both documents are parsed and compared structurally, so differences in spacing, indentation or the order of keys inside an object are ignored — only real changes in data are reported. Each difference shows its path (for example $.stock.warehouse or $.tags[1]), whether it was added, removed or changed, and the values before and after. Arrays are compared position by position unless you tick “Ignore the order of items in arrays”, in which case matching items are paired up regardless of position. Everything runs in your browser; nothing you paste is uploaded.
