TOML ⇄ JSON Converter

Convert configuration files between TOML and JSON, and see exactly where a syntax error is.

Things to know when converting

Type in either box and the other one updates. TOML dates and times become ISO 8601 strings in JSON (JSON has no date type), and JSON strings that look like dates stay strings in TOML. TOML has no null, so a JSON null either produces an error or — if you tick the option — is dropped, and the top level of a TOML document must be an object (a key/value table). Comments in TOML are not carried over to JSON. The conversion follows TOML v1.0 and runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type is uploaded.
