How it works
Sure fixes come from a built-in list of well-known misspellings of popular domains (gmial.com, gmail.con, hotmial.com, yaho.com, outlok.com…) and from endings that are wrong on any domain (.con, .cmo, .ocm, .comm, .couk). Probable fixes are guesses: the domain is a single typing slip away from a popular provider such as gmail.com. They are off by default because a real, different domain can look like a typo — check the change table before using them.
Only the domain is changed, never the name before the @, so a typo there (jhon@gmail.com) cannot be found. Fixing a typo does not prove the address exists. Afterwards, tidy the list with clean email list.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to send to the corrected addresses?
A corrected domain is the most likely intended one, but the person may have mistyped the name part too. Sending a confirmation email is the only certain check.
Why not fix .cm to .com?
.cm is Cameroon’s real ending, so it is never changed automatically.
Is my list uploaded?
No. It stays in your browser.
