Sign PDF

Add your handwritten signature to a PDF: draw it or upload an image, drag it into place, and download the signed file.

Your document never leaves your computer. The PDF and your signature are processed inside your browser — nothing is uploaded or stored.
Visual signature only — not a certified digital signature. This tool places an image of your signature on the page. It does not add a cryptographic signature, certificate or timestamp, so it cannot prove who signed or whether the document was changed afterwards, and it may not have legal validity where a qualified or advanced electronic signature is required. Check what the other party or your country's rules require before relying on it.

About signing a PDF here

This adds an image of your signature to the pages you choose — the same as printing, signing and scanning, but without the paper. It is not a certified “digital signature” (there is no certificate or cryptographic seal), so it may not satisfy contracts or forms that specifically require a qualified electronic signature; check what the recipient needs. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first. The original file is never modified — you download a new signed copy.
