Passport & ID Photo Cropper

Crop a photo to the size of a passport, visa or ID card — with a framing guide — and print several copies on one sheet.

Your photo never leaves your computer. Cropping and the print sheet are made inside your browser — nothing is uploaded, sent or stored.
Check the official requirements for your country. Sizes, head size, background colour, expression and other rules differ between countries and change over time. This tool only crops to the size you choose and shows a generic guide — it does not check that your photo will be accepted. Always confirm the rules with the issuing authority before you print or submit.

Drag the photo to position it and use the slider to zoom. The dashed oval and lines are a generic guide for head and eye position — they are not part of the exported image.

Print sheet

How to use it

Choose the size your application asks for, load a clear, well-lit photo of the person facing the camera, then drag and zoom until the face sits where the rules require. The download is a JPG at exactly the pixel size of the chosen dimensions (for example 413 × 531 px for 35 × 45 mm at 300 DPI). The print sheet repeats the photo as many times as fit on the paper — the paper can be turned sideways automatically to fit more — with thin gaps to cut along; print it at 100% / “actual size” without any scaling. Requirements such as head height, plain background colour and no shadows are your responsibility to check: photo booths and official guidance pages list them for each country.
