Getting a good watermark
A watermark discourages casual reuse but cannot stop determined copying, so treat it as a credit line, not protection. Semi-transparent white text with a soft shadow stays readable on both light and dark photos; a tiled pattern is harder to crop out but spoils the picture more. To keep the result small, save photos as JPG or WebP; use PNG when you need transparency.
