Brokers and hosting I use
I recommend only what I use. I have been a client of IC Markets, IC Trading, FTMO and IONOS for many years.
Affiliate links
The name of each company on this page is a link, and these links are affiliate links. If you open an account or buy something through one of them, the company may pay me a commission. You pay the same price. They carry rel="sponsored" and open in a new tab. Read the Affiliate Disclosure.
Broker: IC Markets
IC Markets is the broker of the DRF Signal account and the broker I use myself. The Signal account is a hedge account in euros, with leverage 1:500, on the server ICMarketsSC-MT5-3 in New York.
Broker for Brazil and Europe: IC Trading
If you live in Brazil or in Europe, IC Trading is the one I suggest. I have been a client for many years.
Prop firm: FTMO
If you want to trade with a proprietary trading firm, FTMO is my suggestion, for traders anywhere in the world. I use an FTMO Classic account, the FTMO Swing type, because it leaves me full freedom in how I trade. The rules of each programme change, so read the current ones on their site before you pay for anything. The Prop Firm Drawdown Calculator can show how much room a set of limits leaves you.
Hosting: IONOS
The whole system runs on a Windows Server 2025 VPS at IONOS in New York, close to the broker, so that the Expert Advisors and the data feeds stay online all day. A VPS is not required to use the Expert Advisors, but an Expert Advisor only works while its terminal is running.
What I do not do
- I do not recommend a company I do not use.
- I do not promise that you will get the same prices, spreads or results as I do. Your broker, account type and settings are different.
- I do not give investment advice.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why these four companies?
- Because I use them. I have been a client of IC Markets, IC Trading, FTMO and IONOS for many years, and I only recommend what I use myself.
- Do I have to use your links?
- No. You can go to any company directly. The price is the same either way. If you use my link I may be paid a commission. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
- Is this advice to open an account or to trade?
- No. It is information about what I use. Trading carries a high level of risk and you can lose more than you expected. Check that a company is authorised in your country first, and read the Risk Disclosure.
- Which broker does the DRF Signal use?
- IC Markets. The Signal account is a hedge account on the server ICMarketsSC-MT5-3 in New York.
- Do the Expert Advisors only work with these companies?
- No. They run on any MetaTrader 5 broker. Test on a demo account first, then use a real account once everything works as you expect.
