Donaldson R F Bold Word Starts Converter
Bold the beginning of every word to give your eyes anchor points for faster skimming. Paste text, pick how much to bold, and copy the result.
About this reading format
Bolding the first part of each word gives the eye a fixed point to land on, and some readers find that this helps them skim text faster and keep their place. It suits some people, especially many readers who find dense text tiring, and not others — there is little firm research either way — so try different amounts and see what works for you. This tool is not connected to, or endorsed by, any commercial reading app.
Copy formatted text pastes the bold formatting straight into Word, Google Docs or an email. Copy HTML gives you <b> tags, and Markdown gives you **bold**. Your text stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
