Shipping Label Combiner

Automatically combine multiple individual shipping labels into print-ready A4 sheets.

The Problem

Printing shipping labels one per page wastes paper and time when you're dispatching dozens of orders a day — this fits multiple labels per sheet automatically, ready for your label stock or plain paper.

About this problem

Most courier and marketplace platforms export each shipping label as its own PDF, usually sized for a thermal printer, with a lot of empty space when printed on A4. Combining them means reading each PDF page, scaling it to a consistent cell size and placing it on a new page without distorting barcodes, which is where manual copy-and-paste in a PDF editor becomes slow and error-prone.

Sellers usually look for a solution when order volume grows to dozens of parcels a day and printing one label per sheet wastes paper and time. They want a repeatable way to drop their exported labels in and get a single print-ready file that matches their label stock or plain paper.

What's Included

What's NOT Included

How It Works

  1. I inspect sample exports from your courier or platform to see page sizes, orientation, margins and whether labels contain a single page or several.
  2. I write a script that reads every PDF in a folder or batch and extracts each label page at its original resolution or as vector content.
  3. I define a grid layout with configurable labels per sheet, spacing and margins, and scale each label to its cell while preserving the aspect ratio so barcodes stay scannable.
  4. I add logic to handle batches that do not fill the last sheet and to keep the order of labels predictable.
  5. I write the pages to one A4 PDF and test-print it at actual size to confirm alignment against your label stock or plain paper.

In practice: you buy the service, send over whatever access or details the job needs, I investigate and do the work, and you confirm it's resolved before we call it done.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I print multiple shipping labels on one A4 page?
The labels need to be placed in a grid on a single page at a size your printer can reproduce. The script does that for your exported label PDFs and outputs one combined file.
Will the barcodes still scan after resizing?
I keep the aspect ratio and test the output at actual print size, but scan quality also depends on your printer and paper. A test print is part of the process.
Can I choose how many labels go on each sheet?
Yes. Labels per sheet, spacing and margins are configurable so the layout can match your printer or pre-cut label stock.
Does it create the shipping labels for me?
No. It assumes you already export the labels as PDFs from your courier or platform. Generating the labels themselves is not included.
Can it connect to my courier's system automatically?
Courier API integration is not included. The tool only combines labels you have already exported, and a connected workflow would be scoped separately.
Will it run automatically whenever new labels arrive?
Not by default. You run it on each batch. Setting it up as a standing, automatic process is a separate piece of work.
Please note: the price shown applies to a standard case matching the description above. Every situation is different, and if your request falls outside the normal scope of this service, I will explain this before doing any additional chargeable work. I will never silently turn a small job into an expensive project.
