How It Works

1. I review your contact CSV and agree which columns to show and search, such as name, department, role, email and phone.
2. I build a directory page that loads the CSV data and provides instant search and filtering across name, department and role.
3. I add a simple way to replace the CSV so you can update the directory yourself without touching code.
4. I protect the page with access control appropriate to your hosting, such as a login or password, so it is not publicly indexable, and I add a rule to keep it out of search engines.
5. I test the page with realistic data, including long names, accents and empty fields, and check it on mobile screens.

In practice: you buy the service, send over whatever access or details the job needs, I investigate and do the work, and you confirm it's resolved before we call it done.

How do I make a searchable staff directory from a spreadsheet?

Export the spreadsheet as a CSV and have a page read it and offer search. I build that page and set it up so replacing the CSV updates the directory.

Can I keep the directory private?

Yes. Basic access control is included so the directory is not fully public. The exact method depends on your hosting.

Will it sync with our HR system?
